Dunnville has lots to offer residents and visitors: from pleasant lodging, to restaurants, and exciting recreational opportunities... this is a four seasons destination where a friendly welcome awaits all in the relaxed down-home atmosphere of its quiet, picturesque community.

With a population of 12,000, Dunnville is located in Haldimand County along the beautiful southern Ontario shores of the Grand River. Situated on Highway #3, Dunnville is only minutes from the beaches of Lake Erie, close to the Niagara and Hamilton regions and only an hour away from the U.S border.  Dunnville's core area has spacious streets, features rustic coach light street lanterns, with colourful banners and merchants that invite you to browse through an array of unique shops and restaurants.

Grand River and Lake Erie are host to all kinds of fun: whether wind-surfing, fishing, water-skiing, boating or canoeing, there are activities for all age groups and levels of difficulty. We also have facilities to play tennis, golf, lawn-bowling, soccer and swimming.

Looking to unwind and relax? Get back to nature with a hike through the Byng Island Conservation Area or Rock Point Provincial Park. A nature lover's paradise, the area features one of the largest expanses of provincially significant wetlands to be found anywhere in Ontario. Perfect for bird watching and nature photography.

Take a stroll down by the Grand River or visit the pier in Port Maitland where the Grand River flows into Lake Erie. Here you can cast out a line or watch the setting sun.

On behalf of its members, the Chamber of Commerce proudly organizes Dunnville's Mudcat Festival. Held each June, the festival celebrates one of the Grand River's most well known inhabitants (the mudcat) and attracts thousands of visitors each year. A parade, kids fishing derby, live music, midway rides and fireworks are just a few of the weekend's activities: voted by Festival Ontario as one of the top 100 festivals to attend, this event is one to mark on the calendar!

The Dunnville Chamber of Commerce invites you to drop off a note, or pop by the office and visitor information center - we'd love to help you discover what our friendly, small community by a beautiful scenic river has to offer!

Located downtown at 231 Chestnut Street, we're open all year Mon. - Fri. 9:30 am - 4 pm, with extended summer hours of Saturday 10 am - 4 pm, and Sundays 12 pm - 4pm from early July until Labour Day.

Hope to see you soon!
